Privacy Policy

Peekaboo Camera: Baby Smiles, by Eli Ger. Last updated October 20, 2026.

Peekaboo collects nothing. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it does not send anything over the internet. Everything it makes stays on your iPhone.

The camera

Peekaboo uses the camera to take photos of your little one. The photos go straight into your Photos library on your iPhone. They are never uploaded anywhere.

Your Photos library

Peekaboo asks only to add photos. It cannot see or read the photos already in your library.

Choosing the best photo

After each peekaboo, the app looks at the faces in the new photos to mark the clearest one as a favorite. This happens on your iPhone, using Apple's built in face detection. No photo or face data leaves the phone, and nothing is stored apart from the photos themselves.

The microphone

The microphone is used only if you choose to record your own voice for your baby to hear. The short clip is kept inside the app on your iPhone. It is never shared, and it is deleted when you record a new one or delete the app.

Settings

Your choices, such as favorite friends and sounds, are saved on your iPhone only.

Children

Peekaboo is made for parents to use with their babies. It collects no information about anyone, children included.

Other companies

No other company receives any information from Peekaboo. The animations and sounds are built into the app.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
